What Truck Stops offers

Truck Stops is a multi-room location added in UPDATE 2. It contains:

• Multiple rooms with separate loot opportunities
• Safes that can contain a sizable cash payout but require time to open
• Ambient loot similar to other commercial locations
• Refuel pad for vehicle refueling mid-run
• Bounty connections — bounty posters may identify Truck Stops as a target’s last known location

The location is especially valuable when it appears on a bounty contract, letting you combine normal looting with a bounty objective.

Looting Truck Stops safely

Safes at Truck Stops can pay well, but opening one takes time and draws attention once police are dispatched. Follow these habits:

1. Check the area before entering — scan for other players and NPC threats
2. Keep an escape route available — know where your car is parked
3. Watch for enemies carrying weapons — the location attracts players and NPCs
4. Do not stay too long after police are dispatched — the time cost of a safe opening can become a trap

Truck Stops includes a refuel pad. This makes it a practical stop on longer southbound routes (Kansas → Oklahoma → Texas → Mexico) where fuel cans from Exon Gas Stations may not be enough.

• Do not skip the refuel because the safe looks tempting — a stranded car loses more than a safe pays
• Combine refueling with a quick loot sweep rather than committing to a full clear
