RUNAWAYS Roblox RUNAWAYS Classes Guide
Every class ranked with abilities, costs, and escape strategy — pick the right one before you spend.
Classes define your starting loadout and passive ability in RUNAWAYS [beta] by supercat games. They are permanent purchases made from NPCs in the game lobby using CREDZ earned from heists. Choosing the wrong class wastes hours of grinding; choosing the right one accelerates every robbery, vault, and border push.
This guide ranks all 10 confirmed classes with real ability data, explains when to buy each one, and maps them to solo and crew playstyles. For loadout pairing after you pick a class, see Escape Loadouts and Best Tools. For CREDZ farming, see How to Get Credz and Cash Farming.

S-Tier — Best overall picks
Smuggler (45,000 CREDZ)
The Smuggler is the single best class for reaching the border. The +20% running speed outruns police, shortens robbery loops, and lets you reach pawn shops before heat stacks. The Crowbar doubles as a breaker for ATMs and objects without triggering unnecessary combat. The Small Backpack forces lean inventory discipline — exactly what you want in the rob → pawn → vault → border loop.
Best for: Solo players who value speed and clean escapes. This is the class that teaches you to play the game correctly.
Gang Member (170,000 CREDZ)
The MAC submachine gun provides reliable mid-range firepower while the +10% running speed keeps you mobile. The Small Backpack maintains inventory discipline. A balanced fighter-looter that works in both solo and crew runs.
Best for: Players who want firepower plus mobility. The MAC handles vault guards and contested pawn lines better than the Smuggler’s Crowbar.
Juggernaut (850,000 CREDZ)
Double health means surviving vault shootouts, police chases, and border skirmishes that kill other classes. The Minigun shreds through obstacles. The −20% running speed penalty is real, but the extra health compensates when fights are unavoidable.
Best for: Crew players who take the vault breach role. You tank damage while faster teammates grab loot. Also strong for players who struggle with disengage mechanics.
A-Tier — Strong alternatives
Scout (35,000 CREDZ)
The cheapest speed-focused class. The +10% running speed helps new players learn escape routes, reach pawn shops faster, and survive early mistakes. The Bat is a decent melee backup. The health penalty means you cannot tank hits — use speed to avoid them.
Best for: Budget beginners. Start here, save for Smuggler.
Contractor (70,000 CREDZ)
A balanced all-rounder with +10% melee, +5% health, and a Pistol plus Mace loadout. The slight speed penalty is offset by raw survivability.
Best for: Players who want a reliable kit without specializing. Good in crews where roles are flexible.
Medic (120,000 CREDZ)
+20% health plus Light Armor and Medic Bags makes this the tankiest A-tier class. You survive situations that would kill Scouts or Smugglers.
Best for: Crew support players. You carry Medic Bags for the team and absorb damage during vault breaches.
B-Tier — Situational
Breacher (550,000 CREDZ)
+40% melee plus C4 and a Shotgun makes this the vault specialist. The Medium Backpack holds more loot per run.
Best for: Crew vault roles only. The high cost and lack of speed bonuses make this a luxury pick for dedicated vault teams.
C-Tier — Niche or starter
Brawler (25,000 CREDZ)
The cheapest class with a small melee boost. The Knuckle is basic but functional.
Best for: Absolute starter when you have nothing else. Upgrade as soon as possible.
Old CEO (40,000 CREDZ)
Carries valuable jewelry (Gold, Ruby Necklace, Diamond, Gold Tiara, Diamond Ring) that can be pawned immediately. The speed and health penalties are harsh.
Best for: Speed-running early cash. Pawn the jewelry, buy a real class.
Bounty Hunter (300,000 CREDZ)
+20% running speed and +10% melee sound strong on paper, but the Machete and Pistol loadout does not justify the price when Smuggler costs less and offers similar speed.
Best for: Players who already own Smuggler and want a combat-focused alternative.
Class buying order for new players
- Start with Brawler (25,000) or skip to Scout (35,000) if you can afford it.
- Save for Smuggler (45,000) — this is your main class for dozens of hours.
- Branch out based on playstyle: Gang Member for firepower, Medic for crew support.
- Late game unlock Juggernaut (850,000) when you want to tank vault breaches.
Total path from Brawler to Smuggler: 70,000 CREDZ. Earn it through the heist loop in How to Rob and Pawn.
Solo class strategy
Pick Smuggler or Scout. Speed is your survival tool when nobody watches your back. Learn the escape loop in Getting Started, then use class speed to execute Escape Loadouts efficiently.
Crew class composition
Split roles:
- Juggernaut — vault breach tank, draws fire
- Smuggler — quick loot sweeps, runs pawn errands
- Gang Member — mid-range firepower, covers exits
- Contractor or Medic — balanced support, heals crew
Coordinate with Crew Roles for abort signals and loot distribution.
