Vehicles in RUNAWAYS are not cosmetic toys — they are logistics tools that decide whether you reach the border or run out of fuel two states away. This guide covers every vehicle available in the Roblox [beta] by supercat games, fuel management, customization options, and when to drive versus when to run on foot.

UPDATE 2 — Car camos and owned paints

UPDATE 2 (29 August 2026) introduced car camos as a new customization option. Equally important: car paints are now owned — switching back to a previously purchased color is free. Previously, changing paint colors may have required repurchasing. Now once you own a paint, you can switch back and forth at no cost. This removes friction for players who switch routes or want different aesthetics for different situations.

Why vehicles matter

The RUNAWAYS map spans multiple state checkpoints: Kansas → Oklahoma → Texas → Mexico. Walking that distance is not viable when police are chasing. Vehicles let you:

• Cover distance between robbery targets quickly
• Escape police pursuit zones faster than on foot
• Transport loot to distant pawn shops
• Reach the border checkpoint before heat catches up

The catch: vehicles need fuel, make noise, and can be destroyed. Managing these trade-offs is core to efficient play.

Vehicle list

The game features several vehicles available through the Robux store and in-game progression:

Reventador

The fastest vehicle in the game. High top speed makes it ideal for long highway stretches between states. The downside is low durability — a few police rams can disable it.

Best for: Solo players who prioritize speed over everything. Pair with Smuggler class for maximum mobility.

Charged

A balanced muscle car with good speed and decent durability. The middle-ground choice that handles most situations without excelling at any.

Best for: Players who want reliability without the Reventador’s fragility.

T1000 (6 seats after UPDATE 2)

A heavy-duty truck with high durability and large fuel capacity. Slower acceleration but survives more punishment from police vehicles. Seats 6 players after UPDATE 2, making it the primary choice for full-crew coordination in a single vehicle.

Best for: Crew players who need to transport loot through contested zones. The extra durability buys time during chases.

Floppy Truck

A quirky vehicle with moderate stats. Not the fastest or toughest, but functional for general use.

Best for: Budget option when better vehicles are not available.

Chunk Mover (5 seats after UPDATE 2)

The largest vehicle available. Maximum durability and cargo capacity but the slowest acceleration and top speed. Seats 5 players after UPDATE 2.

Best for: Crew vault runs where you need to move heavy loot through police blockades.

New UPDATE 2 vehicles

Three new vehicles were added in UPDATE 2 (29 August 2026):

• GR8R — Credz-priced vehicle
• G-Truck — Credz-priced truck option
• Fastbacker — Robux-exclusive vehicle

Fuel management

Fuel is the hidden resource that kills more border runs than police do. Every vehicle consumes fuel while driving, and running out mid-chase is a death sentence.

Fuel rules

1. Gas stations refill your tank. Learn their locations on Map and Locations and Truck Stops.
2. Refuel early, not when the gauge is red. A full tank gives you route flexibility.
3. Plan your route around gas station positions. The border is far; you will need at least one refuel.
4. Abandon a vehicle if fuel is critically low and a gas station is not reachable. Running on foot beats stalling on a highway.

Fuel-efficient driving

• Avoid unnecessary detours. Every extra block costs fuel.
• Coast downhill when possible instead of accelerating.
• Do not idle the engine during robbery stops. Park and go on foot.
• Share vehicles in crews to reduce total fuel consumption.

Customization options

Vehicle customization in RUNAWAYS includes both cosmetic and practical options:

UPDATE 2 changes — car camos and owned paints

Car camos were added in UPDATE 2 as a new customization layer beyond paint colors. These allow visual personalization of vehicles.

Car paints are now owned — this is a major quality-of-life change. Previously, switching paint colors may have required repurchasing. Now once you own a paint, switching back to a previous color is free. This makes vehicle customization easier for players who want to switch aesthetics for different routes or situations.

Other options

• Paint jobs — color changes that do not affect performance
• Skin lines — visual themes available through gamepasses
• Performance mods — may be added in future updates (check Beta Notes)

Customization does not change fuel consumption, speed, or durability in the current beta build. Spend CREDZ on classes and tools first; vehicle cosmetics are a luxury.

When to drive vs when to run

Drive when

• The distance to the next target is more than two blocks
• Police heat is low and you need to cover ground quickly
• You have a full fuel tank and a planned gas station stop
• Your crew needs to move together to a vault or border checkpoint

Run on foot when

• You are inside a robbery zone (vehicles attract attention)
• Fuel is low and no gas station is nearby
• Police are actively chasing and you need tight alley navigation
• You are in the final approach to the border checkpoint
• The vehicle is damaged and likely to stall

Vehicle combat tips

• Vehicles can ram police cars but this damages your own vehicle
• Shooting from vehicles is limited; park and fight on foot if needed
• Use vehicles as mobile cover during firefights (park behind the engine block)
• Do not chase other players in vehicles — it wastes fuel and attracts heat

Common vehicle mistakes

• Starting a border run with a half-empty fuel tank
• Driving into a robbery zone and alerting everyone nearby
• Refusing to abandon a damaged vehicle during a chase
• Spending Robux on vehicle skins before buying essential classes
